It will be a taste journey through the history of the mythical mead that you and your company will never forget. If you have a burning interest in mead, beer or history, this deep dive into the Vikings&#8217; favorite drink is for you.  <\/p>\n\n<p>The mead tasting will be led by one of the museum&#8217;s knowledgeable guides who will talk about the myths surrounding the Norse gods and their connection to mead, as well as the importance of the drink to the people of the Viking Age. The tasting consists of one type of m\u00f6lska and six types of mead, ranging from the driest to the sweetest. The drink is accompanied by a charcuterie board, made entirely from Swedish ingredients. <\/p>\n\n<p>Mead is an alcoholic beverage made from water and honey, often flavored with herbs or fruits. Although mead is strongly associated with the Viking Age, it was far from an everyday drink.
