On November 1st, the museum will arrange our annual Alfablot (Elven sacrifice) , one of the most important sacrificial rituals of the year during the Viking Age, where we will honor our deceased ancestors.
The blot starts with at themed tour in the exhibition at 15.30, and ends with a Viking Age inspired ceremony and song outside the museum. If you want to join the guided tour you have to pay admission to the museum. It’s also possible to only participate in the blot, which is free and starts at 16.00.
