Autumn break with Viking Age creatures and beings

26/10/24-03/11/24

During the autumn break we will have both cozy and slightly spooky activities in the museum. Have your fortune told by a seeress, learn about plant dyeing techniques and discover Viking Age creatures on our monster hunt: “Among Dragons and Draugr”. We will also have guided tours for familys (in Swedish) att 11.30 and 13.30, every day during the break.

On November 1st, the museum will arrange our annual Alfablot (Elven sacrifice) at 16.00. The blot starts with a themed guided tour inside the museum, and ends wit a Viking Age inspired ceremony and song outside the museum.

Monday October 28th and Tuesday October 29th, we will demonstrate plant dyeing outside the museum (if the weather allows it).
