Tattoo artist Johan ”Bonk Tattoo”, from Huckleberry Tattoo, returns to The Viking Museum! Last fall’s tattoo weekend was a huge success and those who missed it will now have a new chance to get a Viking-style tattoo, the weekend of March 14-March 16. Johan tattoos smaller motifs, using either a tattoo machine or traditional “poke technique”. Johan will be tattooing at the museum between 11.00 and 16.30 all three days.

Age limit for tattoo: 18.
For our smallest visitors (and for those who would like to try out a tattoo before making it permanent) Johan, in collaboration with the museum, has developed a series of temporary Viking themed tattoos, that are available for purchase in the museum shop.
This time the museum will also hold a themed guided tour about the history of tattoos, that is included in the entrance fee, on Saturday March 15th and Sunday March 16th.
