We have activities for the whole family during the Christmas holiday, for example “The Trade Journey”, where you get to try the life of a traveling merchant. There will also be Viking Age merchants in the exhibition. Every day during the break there will be guided tours for families (in Swedish), and the regular tours will be garnished with some historic holiday anecdotes.
The museum’s annual Midwinter blot, where we than the gods for the past year, takes place on December 28th. The blot starts with a themed tour in the exhibition at 15.30 and ends with a ceremony outside the museum.
Opening hours during the Christmas break: 10.00-18.00 every day.
